Seated in virasana on a base, his right hand lowered in bhumisparshamudra – the gesture “ for the earth to witness", the left resting on his lab,wearing samghati, his face with serene meditative expression,arched eyebrows above slit eyes, aquiline nose, smiling lips, elongated earlobes, usnisha . Fine details. Black laquer. The nature - termites- gave this Buddha sculpture an additionl artistic touch.  A classic and rare piece.
